By making an invite or replying to one, you agree to these. They are short on purpose.

What the service is

RSVP Ella lets a host create an invitation and share it as a link or a six-character code. Guests reply with a name. Hosts have accounts; guests do not.

If you host

• Keep your invite details accurate — people make plans around them.
• Only upload a photo you have the right to use. You keep ownership of what you upload; you give us permission to display it on your invite.
• Do not use an invite for anything unlawful, for harassment, or to collect information you have no business collecting.
• You are responsible for the guest information you gather and for what you do with it afterwards.

If you are a guest

Answer honestly, be decent in the chat, and remember the host can see everything you put on their invite. You can remove yourself at any time.

Money

Hosting costs $34.99 a year or $5.99 a month. Guests never pay anything.

New hosts get a 7-day free trial, one per account. You add a card to start it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and your card is charged.

After that, your plan renews automatically — every year or every month, at the full price of the plan you chose — until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Billing in your account. You can also cancel without logging in: open Stripe's billing page, enter the email you signed up with, and Stripe sends you a code. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and the unused part isn't refunded. Cancel during the trial and you are never charged.

A promo code takes its discount off your first payment only. Renewals after that are at the full price.

You can switch between monthly and yearly from Billing. During the free trial that just changes which plan starts when it ends. After the trial, the difference is charged or credited straight away, pro rata for the time left, and you see the amount before you confirm.

If your plan ends, your invites stay up: guests can still open them and reply. You won't be able to see or change them until you are back on a plan.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. If the price ever changes, we will tell you before it applies to you.

Ending it

You can stop using RSVP Ella whenever you like. Cancel your plan as well, or it keeps renewing. You can delete your invites yourself while you're on a plan or trial. If your plan has ended and you want an invite taken down, write to us and we will do it. We may suspend an account that is being used for something unlawful or abusive.

The honest limitations

This is a small service run by two people. It is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or free of faults. We are not liable for a party that went wrong, a guest who did not see an update, or a headcount that was off. Use your judgement, and do not rely on it for anything where being wrong would be serious.
